RANDOM F.A.Q.
Constant Algae Problems
This is a very common question that keeps coming up. A lot of people treat their algae or green pools with high doses of chlorine, with little or no effect.

The most common reason for this problem, is the Ph levels have not been adjusted first. Chlorine is Ph dependant, so make sure you always get your Ph low before adding high doses of chlorine.

Another reason for reoccurring algae problems, is that there are many types. Some algae require a very unique treatment. So you need to know what type of algae you are dealing with.

And last but not least, is animals in the pool. If you let your dog swim in your pool, it is equivalent to having twenty people in your pool.

A chlorinator will have no chance at keeping up the chlorine level in that pool, and algae will build up. This is also the case for friendly neighbourhood ducks visiting your pool.
